Bible Teaching

Liberty Church puts a high priority on teaching the Word of God. We believe understanding, believing and living by God's Word is the key to knowing God and success in life. We help our members grow to maturity so that they can read and understand the Scriptures for themselves. We stress the importance of regular Bible reading and encourage everyone to take advantage of the teachings and classes that are available at the church. Some of these are listed below.

Sunday Sermons

Pastor Pete believes his life's calling is to help people experience the freedom available in Christ by accurately teaching God's truth. Jesus said that the truth will set us free if we understand and obey it. Each Sunday the pastor or guest speaker presents a relevant and inspiring Bible-centered message that will assist you to grow in maturity and obedience to God. These teachings will dynamically impact your life.

Connect Groups

We have all kinds of small groups, and many of our Connect Groups spend time discussing important Bible passages and concepts. Some even have a dedicated Bible Study format. You will need to check with each Connect Group leader to see what kind of teaching emphasis they have.

 

Priority One Discipleship is a personal mentoring relationship that uses the Gospel of John to teach and put into practice the essential truths about Jesus, faith and life.

Online Bible Meditations

In an effort to tap into current technology and recognizing that many have very limited free time, Pastor Pete publishes regular Bible devotions on the website and via e-mail. You can access the most recent meditation by going to the home page and clicking on the Meditation link at the top navy section. The various collections of studies can be found on our website under the "Resources" tab on the pull down menu above and look under "Studies". They may be just what you need to accelerate your spiritual growth. Many of the meditations provide an interactive feature by which you can engage Pete in a discussion on the subject covered via e-mail.
