Worship

Worship is an important way we express our love for God. At Liberty we believe that our worship should be a combination of exuberant praise and heartfelt worship. Our music is contemporary, incorporating occasional hymns, but mostly we use modern songs. Every generation creates its own songs as an expression of its relationship with God. We use a variety of instruments, including piano, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, marie and joshelectric guitar and drums. We have multiple worship leaders and singers. If you have talent from God and a desire to lead others in worship, there could be a place for you on our  team.

The goal of our worship band is to assist the congregation to worship and praise from the with freedom and with all their might. We encourage all Biblical forms of worship, including the playing of musical instruments, singing, shouting, clapping, dancing (unto the Lord) and the raising of hands. Our children love to join us and have a special section on one side of the sanctuary which is overseen by adults where they exercise age appropriate praise with flags and banners.

Worship is not something just for Sunday morning. Rather God wants it to become part of our lifestyle. We should spend time each day praising God and worshipping him. He is deserving of all honor and glory.

Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, 19 singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. 20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:18-20 (NLT)
