Missions includes going and giving. Our missions focus at Liberty Church
involves supporting missionaries and ministries working on the foreign
and local fields and sending out short and long-term workers. Short-term
missions trips are coordinated through
Missions without Borders. In 2007, we sent a 7-person team to Peru.
We hope to do at least one such trip per year. Pastor Pete also makes
trips to selected countries. Last year he visited the Parkers in Burkina
Faso while accompanying Buddy Walker on a fact finding trip their for
Master Builders. He hopes to visit the Pressons in Thailand in 2007.
The church always needs to be looking outside of itself. At Liberty
Church, we invest at least ten percent of our income in ministries
outside the church. We encourage our members and friends to partner with
us by giving specific offerings over and above the tithe to these
individuals and ministries. The church will include your generous gift
as part of its tithe to missions. Be assured that your designated
offering will always go where you direct it. Below is a list of some of
those whom we support and work along side. Be generous and be a part of
helping us reach our giving goals.
Primary Support
Using our "Fully Funded Missions" plan, we have committed to provide
funds on a monthly basis for the following ministries before we make any
attempt to fund our second tier.
Bethanie
Evangelical Mission of Haiti
Pastor Ignace Augustin of Les Cayes, Haiti is the directory of this ministry that plants churches, builds schools and drills wells throughout the western part of Haiti. He is training men for ministry and operates a radio station for gospel outreach. Donations to BEMH help to support the many works of the ministry, including child sponsorship and the Barnabas Ministry which provides funds for local pastors so they can work unhindered. We will support this ministry up to $150 per month. Your contributions will help us meet or exceed this goal.
"Papa"
Pete Beck, Jr.
Pastor Pete's Dad travels extensively throughout the US and overseas in
an apostolic role. We will support this ministry up to $150 per month.
Your contributions will help us meet or exceed this goal.
Caring Kitchen
Burlington Assembly of God runs this ministry which feeds the homeless
and hungry each Saturday and Sunday. We work with them by supplying
support and by sending volunteers to serve one Saturday per month. We
will support this ministry up to $100 per month. Your contributions will
help us meet or exceed this goal.
Masterbuilders Fellowship
The church contributes to the operational and minister travelling
expenses of this fellowship of apostolic churches to which we belong. We
will support this ministry up to $50 per month. Your contributions will
help us meet or exceed this goal.
Steve

This couple reaches out to the unreached people groups of Africa. They
are based in Burkino Faso. Steve teaches seminars and is an author. We
will support this ministry up to $150 per month. Your contributions will
help us meet or exceed this goal.
Bryan

This couple have worked for years in apostolic ministry in
Thailand. They now reside in Greensboro, NC where they are working to
establish a church for the large population of Karen tribes people (from
Thailand and Burma) who have been resettled there. We will support this ministry up to $150 per month. Your
contributions will help us meet or exceed this goal.
Other Missions and Ministries
The following ministries are not formally funded by the church, but we
encourage our members and friends to make offerings to them which we
pass along. Offerings to these ministries are included in our missions
tithe.
