What to Expect When You Visit

main signYour first impression of Liberty Church will probably be of our beautiful building and land. God has blessed us with 23 acres of pasture and woods. Our building, dating back to the early 1900's, looks more like an old plantation than a church. We are happy with that because it fits our informal worship style. As you drive into our spacious parking lot, look for the covered side entrance. That is where you enter. Park wherever you like.

You will be greeted by friendly people who care about you. We begin at 10 with a refreshment time, with worship starting at 10:30 and the meeting concluding around Noon.

We provide nursery and childcare throughout the meeting; so, parents, you can relax and enjoy the service, knowing that your children are in good hands. However, we understand that some parents nurseryprefer to keep their children with them during worship, and this is fine with us. We screen all our children's ministry workers and seek to provide the safest environment possible for your kids. When the main celebration service begins at 10:30, we all find our seats to worship together for about 30 minutes or so. After that some brief announcements are made and we receive an offering and review some aspect of our mission statement. After the offering, Pastor Pete or whoever else may be speaking will give a relevant and inspiring message from the Bible that usually lasts about 30 to 45 minutes. The younger children will attend Sunday School classes during this time, while the teens remain in the sanctuary to listen to the sermon or meet in the youth room to hear a message from the youth leader. In about an hour and a half, you will be free to go or stick around like most of our members for more fellowship.

worshipPlease do not feel that you must "dress up" to fit in. We care far more about you than the clothes you wear. You will find people wearing everything from a coat and tie to very casual dress. The important thing is that we meet with God. Father God is only impressed with the beauty and righteousness of His Son anyway.
