And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)

Jesus commissioned the church to go and make disciples. The POD strategy is a way we can accomplish this with God’s help. PODs are small groups of disciples who

1. Study Christ’s commands (the Bible) together
2. Apply what we learn to our lives.
3. Share the Good News about Christ with others.
4. Make new disciples through forming new PODS.

In other words, the members of a POD do the Christian life together with the determination to be constantly expanding Christ’s Kingdom through discipleship. If you are interested in finding out more about this exciting way to grow and minister, contact Pastor Pete.
