Children's Ministry

playgroundWhat does Liberty Church have for my kids?

The answer to this question is two-fold. First of all, we have wonderful and committed teachers who pour their hearts into our kids. Secondly, we use the Children Desiring God curriculum, which is the best we have ever tried. Sheri Cox directs this wonderful ministry.

Where do we want our children to be 10 or 20 years from now? Can churches grow mighty oaks of righteousness without intentionally nurturing the saplings under their care? The deep-rooted faith we desire for our children--a faith that weathers the storms of life and bears fruit for the glory of God--is nurtured by a systematic plan to partner with parents in communicating the greatness of God, the glory of Christ, and the power of the Gospel. We invite you to take part in a bold new vision for children's ministry; a vision greater than the routine of recruiting volunteers and planning activities; a vision that recovers the Biblical mission for children's ministry: exalting God as the source, means, and purpose of all things. In addition to being Biblically sound and God-centered, this curriculum teaches children to delight in God. nursery

The children between the ages 5 and 7, meet in the "Yellow Room" with dedicated and enthusiastic teachers. The Children Desiring God curriculum is teaching them all about God's unchanging character. They have plenty of hands on activities and take home materials for sharing at home what they are learning.

Worship

The children participate with the adults under supervision by the teachers in the general worship service where they are encouraged to worship God with all their hearts. The younger ones are taken to their Kidz Church meeting at an appropriate time where they receive ministry tailored to their age.
